Ryder Homestead is about an hour from Lithgow. Three accommodation options are available. The six bedroom Homestead is fully self-contained, has an open fire, a slow combustion fire, a large bathroom, an extra en suite bathroom and a large well appointed kitchen.
The Blue Gum Cabin is a self-contained two bedroom rustic cabin with slow combustion fire, spa bath and well appointed kitchen. It sleeps up to six people.
The Acacia Cabin is a self contained studio rustic cabin with slow combustion fire, bathroom, separate WC and well appointed kitchen. it sleeps up to four people.
All options include beds made up, bath towels, tea towels, salt and pepper, vegetable oil, tea, coffee, sugar and a good supply of firewood.
Activities include gold fossicking, marked bushwalking trails, yabbying, outdoor campfire, star gazing, craft shed for kids and a games shed. Other outdoor activities include ball games, Frisbee Golf and Putball.
